Bicentennial Quilting

To celebrate the Town of Mexico's Bicentennial in 2018, the Bicentennial Committee is asking people with ties to Mexico, Maine to complete an 8"x8" quilt square for a pair of Bicentennial Quilts. The muslin square to base your quilting artwork will be provided. The first night of this two night course will focus on designing your quilt square. A variety of methods, such as traditional quilting, embroidery, crazy quilting, and photo transfer will be discussed. The second night of this course will focus on production of your quilt square. Four teachers will be on hand to assist you in whatever type of quilt square you desire to make. Some sewing machines will be available for use.

Cards for Christmas

Spend a few hours being creative and leave this class with 12 cards-2 each of 6 designs. Have all the cards you need for your Christmas or frame them and brighten the walls of your home for a fraction of the cost of “real” art. Whatever you do with them, they will bring a smile to someone.
