Bread Making: Sourdough
with Carissa Winning
$35
In this class you will learn how to make and maintain a sourdough starter. You will also see examples and taste the different types of products you can make using your starter. In class 2 you will use your own starter from class 1 to make bread dough and learn different mixing/folding and shaping techniques. In the final class you will learn to score and bake your bread in a Dutch oven.
For this class you will need to bring:
- A pint sized mason jar with lid for the first class
- Bread flour (King Arthur is a good choice) and a quart sized glass or plastic bowl for the second class.
